A conference held to examine how to promote biostatistics in medical universities
The public relations of Shahid Beheshti Medical University: the conference of examining strategies to promote biostatistics in medical universities was held on Feb 25, 2015 in the School of Allied Medical Sciences.
Topics of debate included the quality of statistics education in Iran and the world, understanding and knowledge of medical students of statistics, attitude medical science towards the course of biostatistics, methodology of teaching biostatistics to students in bachelor’s and master’s degree and medical students, the importance of biostatistics in medical sciences, necessity of revising educational materials of biostatistics and teaching biostatistics with an approach towards law and medical ethics.
